Woolley's Grill Lounge - Aurora

I'm currently staying at the hotel and ordered a burger and fries to my room. The burger was excellent! Everything I saw being served to other guests looked fantastic as well, and the portion sizes are generous. I will definitely keep choosing this hotel and dining here every time I'm in Aurora to visit my family.

The waitress was forgetful, and it took quite a long time to be served. Perhaps the restaurant is understaffed.

I only had a drink since the appetizer selection was limited. However, my Bloody Mary, which came with bacon, was excellent. As for parking, it cost $10, but you received a token for $5 off your food or drink, making it a great deal.

The service here is generally quite slow, and it 's hit-or-miss as to how friendly the server is.I had a particularly awful experience where I ordered an item off the menu with a couple modifications (removals). When I got the bill after eating, the cost was higher than what the menu said. They informed me it was because, when I modified it, it became a fundamentally different item (a build your own burger instead of the burger on the menu), despite having not been informed of this verbally nor on the menu beforehand. After several back-and-forths, they continued to refuse to remove the additional charge. In effect, I was lied to and they changed the conditions of what I ordered after I ordered it. Because of this, I will never eat here again.

I love Wooleys so much, we come here as a staycation and to celebrate our anniversary and it's sooooooooo perfect for that. The service is great and the staff is always friendly. Gorgeous hotel, great food, beautiful ambience in the lobby with the koi fish and the lights. The room is very comfortable and spacious, and we made it even cozier with our candles and lighting.
