Saddest looking pizza I've ever seen. Didnt taste terrible but it was so thin and shriveled up and overcooked I had to eat half the pizza to feel like I ate 1 normal slice.
The food was amazing and it's a great price, The calzone I ordered was huge, It had extra cheese and philly steak. Definitely will be visiting again. Service was out of this world too, Thanks for everything.
I want to be fair and I truly hope the owner reads this and makes some changes. My fiance has been here once before and thought it was okay. It was late night and we were coming home from a long day so he thought that we could give it another chance. We arrived and nobody greeted us or told us where to sit. We had to approach the waitress and she told us we could sit anywhere. As we look around, nearly all the empty tables are dirty. Now the restaurant had a decent crowd, but it was nowhere near full. We sat at the least dirty one and waited. A table that came after us had their orders taken first. The young woman who had hosted us came over and asked for our drink orders. As we watched her go through the restaurant we could tell that she was overwhelmed and figured that they were understaffed. We then hear that one of the men sitting at the bar is the owner. Here is where my confusion sets in. How could the owner of a business be present in a restaurant that is such a mess and not step in to help clean up? The servers looked very overwhelmed.Back to our table experience. We ordered a margherita pizza, cheese sticks, and a chicken parmesan sandwich. My pizza came out with the appetizer. Now, I have had pizza all over the US (NY, Chicago, authentic Italian restaurants never have I seen a margherita pizza made like this. It really was more of a sauce pizza and the sauce had a bad aftertaste. At this point I'm exhausted and it's late so I just eat it. My partners food didn't arrive until I was done with mine. He takes two bites and says he cant eat it. It tasted like old meat with rhagu on top. At this point he goes to drink more of his drink and noticed dirt in the cup. We look at the bottom and there is black stuff all over the bottom of the cup. At this point I was a bit frustrated but our server was very nice so we decided that we would pay and give her a decent tip since it wasn't her fault and so far she was very pleasant. We told her our concerns on the food and about the dirt in the cup and did however compliment her on working hard. She said im sorry you had a bad experience... but in truth I think it would have been better for her to atleast offer to take his food and drink off of the bill since he didn't eat it and since his drink had dirt in it. At this point I told my fiance if the front of house is like this, I'm nervous to see what the back is like. As we left we looked in the kitchen there was trash everywhere.A couple of recommendations for the owner: First, you need music in this place. Everyone could hear eachothers conversations which was awkward. I heard one of the waitresses talking about how they only make two dollars and hour and how they knew you wouldn't pay them since they couldn't clock in. It seems that your employees are very frustrated and this reflects leadership. Tell them to keep personal convos off the floor, dim the lights, turn on the music, and set a mood. Second, work on timing for the food. Serve drinks first, then apps, then meals together. Third, I would scrap the open bar in the front, add a hostess stand and focus more on your floor. You can also have people order at the front then sit, like the Fellinis pizzeria in Atlanta does. They are every successful and I think a visit there will give you some improvement suggestions. Fourth, cleanliness is so IMPORTANT in the restaurant industry. Not only were our tables dirty, but we werent given napkins or straws and when we looked around several of the napkin dispensers on other tables were empty. It's seems that you may need to retrain and work on the flow of your team. You guys have a great location, but the service and cleanliness is dragging it down from where it could be.*P.S. This is the only restaurant/ business I've been to in the past year where the team members are not wearing masks. Please help protect your team and others.
Drinks were weak, no one had on a mask but us, staff or customers.
