Taqueria Arandas - Austin

Though small in size, this restaurant serves up delicious food in generous portions. I recently revisited the establishment for my daughter's birthday and ordered the menudo. Unfortunately, the dish we received was disappointing. The meat was fatty and full of gristle, with bones still present. My daughter couldn't even eat it. This experience has likely deterred us from returning in the future. While our first visit was enjoyable, this last one fell short. I hope that the restaurant takes better care in the future to avoid similar disappointments.

The breakfast tacos were mediocre for the price. I requested corn tortillas for my tacos, but unlike most taquerias that use two corn tortillas for extra support, they only provided one per taco. This was barely enough to hold the filling.

I visited this fantastic Mexican restaurant in South Austin and it was a great experience. I tried a few dishes and their tacos al pastor were amazing! The tex-mex plate was also very tasty. The prices were reasonable for the generous portions. The service from both waitresses was friendly and helpful.

This is by far the best place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner when you are craving authentic Mexican food. Best Lingua ever!

If you like Mexican food. And don't mind a hole-in-the-wall. You will enjoy your meal. The food is tasty and it comes out hot.
