There is no taste of mojito nor of sour orange which are typical of the Cuban gastronomy. There is no taste of sweet bread and black beans. The food is palatable and a mix of Mexican with Cuban, But mostly Mexican. The food still good but we were hoping it was Cuban.
I want to express that this place is a blessing. The entire work team, from the waiters, cooks and bakery, always welcome us with a smile. We visit the restaurant frequently and it feels like being at home. The food, the desserts, the atmosphere, a very clean and cozy place. The kitchen is open giving you the opportunity to see the food handling and cleaning. God bless you all and give you many years of success.
Their pollo frito is the best fried chicken in the whole city.
Wonderful experience for myself and my Cuban husband. Flavorful and plentiful plates of authentic Cuban food. We've tried a few Cuban restaurants in town and this one takes the prize for it's food, atmosphere and and affordable pricing. The bonus is the bakery with fresh Cuban bread. It is worth the drive. I gave this place a higher rating on yelp, but since being overcharged, which I didn't expect after such a nice meal. It appears they're charging gringos more, or they just haven't updated their menus to reflect accurate prices. It was delicious, but think I'll look for another place the next time I have a craving for Cuban.
