Truluck's Seafood, Steak and Crab House - Austin Arboretum

We have dined at this restaurant several times in the past, but this time we were disappointed with the quality in comparison to the price. The cold water lobster tail was excellent, but the supposed "1/2 lb" of king crab had very little meat and was not fully cracked, making it difficult to enjoy. The steak frites were overcooked as well. The bottle of wine we selected turned sour and was undrinkable by the end of the meal. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the bartenders were great, but overall the experience did not feel like it justified the high cost.

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant. They made our anniversary memorable with their great food and service.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant for a special occasion happy hour! The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. The piano player was excellent and very friendly. I will definitely be returning for another visit.

Ryan, who took care of us was incredible. It was my birthday and he made it extremely special.
