Waffle House - Austin

I wanted to stop at the waffle house while I wanted to give up an order at lunchtime. the restaurant was not too busy when I was there at 11 o'clock. At some point, no worker recognized me when I came in, if I would try to make eye contact with them so that I could place my order. it took almost 10 minutes after entering for someone to ask how can I help them after I order and sit there waiting another 10 minutes for my food, I heard that one of the workers say what is this man waiting after I get my order, I went back to my job and eat. the food tasted terrible. it was bland and overcooked. I would not recommend this location to anyone, it was a terrible experience from customer service and also food quality.

Man, Waffle House is one of my favorite spots to eat at. Now I know Waffle House’s aren’t the cleanest or known for their hospitality, but this place is Bad. I walk in and sit down and about 10 minutes later the waitress took my order and called it out, then she leaves to go home with another waitress. So the cook is asking who’s order is this and the cook brings me the food which was a pork chop dinner and eggs with chili and cheese on the hash browns with a mr. Pibb. Well I had to ask the cook for silverware and my drink and when he brought me the drink is when I noticed his hand had cuts all over them both of his hands and looked ****. I lost my appetite right then and there. Since when did Waffle House scoop so low. I’m sorry but this place needs to be shut down.

The place was filthy certain workers don't come in to work at pretty much each open location I know of on certain days of the week.When that happens they only serve to go or have to close for a couple of hours to clean which makes sense because the cook being the waiter and the host/hostess is a bit much.Whenever I see it like this I just leave.1 star is for those experiences.When you can find waffle house in order it's a really decent place to grab breakfast.In those cases I would rate it higher but these days there have been less decent experiences and more days like the latter.

DO NOT COME HERE. Was not greeted upon entering. I had to figure out to seat myself.The place is Filthy. Bad Service (Waiter did mention half the Staff was a no show today). Timing of Food was way off (my bacon came AFTER I finished my breakfast). Coffee was lukewarm. This place needs to be shut down.Everything removed. and Pressure washed.Corporate needs to swarm this place and whip Staff into shape. I hate being so harsh. But, this place is that bad……

Worst service I've had in a long time. I normally love Waffle House, but these guys need to focus on the customers! They ignore you when you come in, expect you to sign in but nobody tells you that, and then when you ask questions the lady in front is surly with zero friendliness. The first time we went in we stood there and waited for more than 10 mins for someone to greet us and with 8 employees there not one even looked at us. We tried to eat there twice and both times we got so bothered by their service we just walked out. So I cant even tell you how the food is LOL! We will never go back to this location again. Hopefully management does something to improve their broken service area.
