Now I have only eaten once since the movement, but I could swear that eating is better. I can recommend the bark corma (probably every corma dish will be delicious) the vindaloo, all naans and the house special palak wiper (it could be called something else on the menu, but it is the classic spinat and Indian cheese dish.) they do a nice task to pack meal times to also go. to be candied, my feelings about this place are influenced by the warmth and courtesy of the owner jahagger and his personal. there was a certain risk that the restaurant should have closed in februar 2019 due to the inability to secure a visum for a new chef from pakistan, but apparently a petition was guided in circle, the chef got his visum (like jahaggers wife and 3 children) and somehow the movement and the new restaurant were developed. jahagger says that the business is dramatic in the new central location. it could not happen to a nicer guy.
Shahdil is a bit a mixed bag for visitors who have regular access to high quality Indian/Pakistan foods. in great measure, their satisfaction with their entire culinary experience depends on what they order. the tandoori meat and seafood can dry if good, and the tikka masala sauce leaves much to wish. the bryanis are a little muded and soggy, but still quite delicious. the naans are excellent, especially the garlic naan, which is found with the mild, slightly sweet garlic on the local market. I recommend the sauce dishes such as vindaloos and curries about the tandoor meat (except perhaps as an appetizer) last trip, I asked a really sharp bark vindaloo, and was not disappointed. the siderìce dishes are very good, with the normal basmati with a hauch of saffron, the typical ferbsenpulao and a version with dried fruits. I would say that the cooking style here is a little used to people who eat excellent Indians regularly, but it is worth the effort. the room is nothing special, with colorful Indian decoration and quite loud music, but the service is quite friendly, and the overall experience can be quite satisfying. are portioned on the small side, but plentiful, and the prices are somewhat high for the quality.
The environment could be a little more beautiful, but it's okay. the service was very pleasant. we were there with our little dog and they welcomed us and were very friendly. the quantity and quality is very good and generous and the price for 2...people moderate. we recommend this restaurant as a beautiful change of the French cuisine.
Very good service .very good food .nan formage plus garic and chekin tikaa masala relly i like it and service also very classy
We were able to discover Indian cuisine in this small restaurant. we were well received and were able to taste a complete menu for a really modest price (8€50 student menu).
