We've been randomly entering this facility. The welcome was warm and the surprising decor with the fisherman’s nets, the murals as well as the various objects hung on the walls reminding the marine universe in the middle of the village. we options for the menu at 28 € with entry, dish, cheese and dessert. The foie gras was good. However, the green salad with vinaigrette and tomato did not really marry with this entry. the beef piece was too cooked while the knife did not fulfill its role. The burnt cream looked more like an egg flank on which we had caramelized red sugar. fortunately, the service provided by two charming ladies allowed us to ease our disappointment.
For the second time disappointed by this restaurant. decoration, very medium kitchen and errors in service and kitchen. I don't recommend.
A small restaurant without pretention, a charming welcome, but dishes not at the level. For the ham at the Chablisienne, one expects something else than a slice of thick ham that one finds in the flunch! (so the metro). The same is true for burgers' breads. I'm sure a baker knows how to make them and that it would make the whole much better (the meat is a great contrario)So, in summary, the terrace is pleasant, the reasonable prices and the wines of good invoice, but there are still some progress to be made on the dishes.
Return trip, stopover in Beautiful Auxerre, had diner at Le Saint Nicolas. Chicken chips and desert. Not impressed.
