The Avalon on the Beach - AVALON BEACH

Went with my wife for her birthday mid-week. Sadly not many people there as it was really good. Great fish and paella and great location right on the beach. Must be perfect at lunch time.

Whilst the views are great, this restaurant could be so much more but hasn't hit the mark with any of the locals I know of since it opened. We've given it a few attempts to give them the benefit of the doubt but it never lives up to what it could be. Food is very average for the price in the restaurant as is the service. There also seems to be a very high turnover of staff with numerous managers since it opened.

I had my pre-wedding girls long lunch here with all my family and I could not have asked fort a better place. I was showing my overseas relatives Sydney so they were just blown away with the view. We called ahead and they put us on a table right next to the window, it was stunning! The seafood was fantastic and the wine kept coming. the staff were the best part - so friendly and accommodating. We laughed and drank until they closed and they never once asked us to leave. highly recommend this place!!

My husband and I was given a voucher for Xmas, which covered quite a number of Restaurants in Sydney, we chose to dine out at the Avalon - located directly on the beach with a casual dining, from the moment we were seated to the end of the night our experience was nothing short of Excellent... Zanita our waitress was very attentive even though they had a huge party to attend to next door, Our food was excellent, our taste buds were singing, desert recommended by our waitress Pana Cotta..... delicious, every meal had a sensational taste, we definitely will return.

The location is awesome as it offers great views of the surf and the cove. the food is good value and would love to be back here again.
