Our experience at this restaurant was a bit mixed. The Caesar salad and spinach salad were both delicious. The hoagie dip was also very good. However, the pizza was a disappointment.
Would only come here if you have no other options Food is similar to what you would get at a mall food court for the most part but will say the fig pizza...
During our last visit, I ordered a plain hamburger for my son as a to-go order. When I arrived to pick up the order, the burger wasn't quite ready, but I didn't mind waiting. I watched as the burger came off the grill and saw the cook preparing it with his bare hands. Although I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt that his hands were clean, I was concerned when he used a dirty rag that he had just used to wipe the counter to remove cheese from a cheeseburger and make it a plain hamburger for my son. I brought up the issue with the cook, and the cashier immediately offered me a refund. My concern is with the health and sanitation practices at the restaurant. If you want to avoid getting sick, I would recommend going to another spot instead of Shorebreak. Isabellas, which is located right next door, seems like a good alternative.
The pizza, the jowl, the burgers! it is all delicious. they have a secret icy that is ingenious. ask for the secret icy.
