Excellent quality food, very delicious and nice service. I unfortunately had stomach pain from the wine though (although very delicious wine).

Green salad was not entirely fresh and the oil and balsamico they serve with it were of poor quality. Fish for mains was excellent, as were the sides. Not enough sides, though. Service is simply not there. Although the place was only 1/4 full it took them 20 minutes to come and take our order, an eternity to bring the salad, another one to serve the mains, and no one showed up for taking the order for dessert and coffee. Since we couldn't ask for the bill we had to get up and pay at the bar, where one waitress was nipping a drink while another one chatted with regulars. Truly poor. 80 CHF for one salad, two fish mains and two beers is a bit steep.

Extremely friendly, polite and helpful staff. Excellent cuisine with elaborate dishes of excellent quality. Quick to serve. Prices around 20-30 francs per dish, in line with the area. Well-kept rooms, all with an original touch, each is different from the other, some are equipped with a sink. The bathroom is shared and there are three of them, for a total of two showers, without a bidet (normal for Switzerland). Very quiet area. View from the balcony over the city and the valley.

Very cozy, everything clean and very friendly staff. We'll always come back. Thank you very much for that Hospitality.

Ich besuche das Unione jedes Jahr, wenn ich ins Maggiatal fahre. Das Essen überzeugt mich jedes Mal, ausgezeichnet, egal, was ich bestelle. Dazu schätze ich, dass die Gastgeberin immer äusserst freundlich ist. Komme immer gerne wieder!
