The portions were big, and that was perfectly adequate for the two of us. The pizza was good, not great. The toppings (we had proscuitto and cheese, iirc) were good but the thin crust wasn't completely cooked and crisp. The buffalo mozzarella on the salad was particularly nice but the tomatoes were rather hard and under-ripe. The service was not particularly friendly or fast. True, we were there are a busy time, but we had better service the next day at another restaurant on the same Place which seemed even busier.
Dice of super bitter tomatoes and acid damage other friends dishes looked good. A little disappointed. I'm really sorry.
Randomly back in this tiny restaurant, attracted to Italian cuisine (fresh pasta, pizzas), I was really disappointed with quality. my mozza ham roll pizza wasn't super garnished and dry. On the other hand, my friend's calamars were much better. the panacottas were frozen (not defrosted yet? frigo too cold?). and the expensive check for what it was. The waiter was nice and smiling, a good point anyway!
Good value for money.Bon welcome pizzas are super good and in addition there are small for small appetites
We thoroughly enjoyed this meal in Avignon! Pizza, lasagna, bruchetta and wine were all delicious. Great prices...6 pizzas, 2 lasagnas, 2 carafes of red wine, 2 beers and 4 tiramisu... $118. Service was great, and although English wasn't well known we communicated without a problem. The woman waiting tables was very nice. Sidenote, she was doing everything in the restaurant and did it all with a smile! Best value for a delicious meal with teenagers in Avignon. Enjoy!!
