We went at 5 pm on a Saturday and it never felt like a difficult experience because I had a child with me. I highly recommend for an adult or child night out.
I received a gift certificate for this restaurant. I noted a birthday and gluten free on my reservation, neither was acknowledged. The booth was ripped and the veggies once again not cooked enough. My boyfriend order a steak medium, it was medium rare. The drinks are never good there so we didn’t order any this time. Will not be going back.
First visit to this restaurant for my birthday! It was wonderful! Wonderful ambience in the quiet room with the fireplace, delicious food and excellent service! I had the Winter Farm House Salad, my husband had the short rib foccacia sandwich, my sister had steak sandwich and my brother in law had lettuce cups. All loved their meals! We definitely will be back!!
This restaurant isn 't bad, but it 's not great! My overall experience was affected by the very small foyer through which everyone exits and enters. It is very narrow, and would only accommodate about 3 or four couples, at most. You are faced with the host desk, and immediately behind it is a wall that blocks your view of the interior. It almost makes you feel like they don 't want you to enter. The restaurant was not very busy when we were there, and I can 't imagine how claustrophobic this area would get on busy nights with pick-up activity and seated guests. The seating areas, however are quite spacious. I ordered the Korean short rib, with Sesame Spinach and Kimchee fried rice, It was average, at best, the Kimchee was hardly noticeable. The serving size was vey large. There is apparently another smaller portion available, but my server did not mention that to me. My wife had short rib tacos. They were much more flavorful. Our server was adequate but not overly engaged. There is a happy hour menu, and we thought we 'd like to order an item or two from it, but we were informed that it 's only available in the bar area. That isn 't specified on the website. So, not a thrilling evening. This was our first visit to this location. We have eaten at other locations owned by the same group. I would say that they were better than the Avon property.
Always a very good dining experience. Food good, server attentive and polite.
