Orchid Cafe - Avon

We held our wedding reception in the Orchid Room, and I can’t say enough about how helpful and friendly all the staff were. Our guests truly enjoyed exploring the nature conservation area, and we received numerous compliments on the beauty of the venue. We are absolutely thrilled with our choice! Magnificent place for any kind of bridal shower, or baby shower, or tea party. Clean plant. But they needed to deliver soap near their sink in the kitchen area and the stove/oven is not able to be used. The garden area outside is perfect for pictures!!

Our wedding was perfect. We love the outdoor area so the ceremony was in the gardens what we were looking for. The Freiland butterfly house and the indoor orchid rain forest Atrium created wonderful pictures. The guests enjoyed the view and everything to do. At night the cord over the gardens created such a beautiful ambience. Especially, Big Show Catering has such a good job with the food. I think every guest told us how much the food loved. They even made our wedding cake that came even better, then we introduced ourselves.

My wedding was truly amazing. The food was among the best I've ever tasted. We even got our wedding cake and cupcakes made there, and they were absolutely delicious! The dark chocolate cake was incredibly moist, and the frosting was just how I wanted it. We also had a wine and mimosa bar with unique juices and shrimp, which was a huge hit. We made sure to save some leftovers to enjoy later. The staff anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, allowing me to relax and enjoy the entire night. Our guests loved exploring the indoor atrium, which had a very romantic atmosphere, as did the beautiful outdoor gardens.

I attended an intimate wedding there. What a view! The gardens were amazing, and the indoor atrium was great for pictures. There was a live parrot in the orchid atrium that kept imitating peoples laughs; which made us laugh more! At night, the string bulb lights really set the ambiance. The food was so wondeful. It was the best roast beef, pasta, and salad; not the typical bland catered food.
