Quality has gone down -Very disappointing dinner overall.Spinach Manicotti had an unpleasant frozen spinach taste.The sausage and meatball lasagna had so much cheese that it oozed a lump the size of my palm on the plate but wait; Where is the meat?To makes it worse the manager could have cared less. I love popping in on to grab food! I never have to wonder what’s for dinner anymore. It’s a little more expensive than grocery shopping but less than going out to eat for sure. The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean.

I live in Glastonbury Connecticut and I usually go to the one in Wethersfield Connecticut. This time I tried the Avon location. I made the mistake of buying a chicken Caesar salad that expired on the 17th i.e yesterday. The lettuce was not fresh at all and the chicken was rubbery. I ended up throwing it out.I also purchased a meatloaf, which I absolutely love from the Wethersfield location. Unfortunately, this one also had an expiration date of the 17th. They have a huge selection of food. For some odd reason, I find it difficult to find things I want to purchase!

Update : re: staff- lately I'm not fond of the Manager Danielle and Supervisor Kayla both immature, unprofessional and gossipy As a customer I like going into a business and seeing staff act as a team and professional. The recent times I've gone in Kayla buried in her phone texting while the dark haired woman with curly hair ringing up customers. Another time the manager Danielle upset because one of her staff went to get her while she was on her break about a catering order. Just recently I went in on a Friday morning and witnessed Kayla, lashing at the woman with the dark curly hair. I heard she resigned and no longer works for Pasta Vita anymore most likely didn't want to deal with Kayla's **** and Danielle constantly complaining. Kudos to her for leaving!! Kayla and Danielle have a lot of maturing to do from what I observed and need to change their attitudes. The 2 male managers that worked there Dan and Jon both awesome ! Also the lady with the dark curly hair and older blonde woman awesome and very helpful always professional Sad to hear the lady with the dark curly hair left. Her and older blonde lady where my faves ! Also Dan and Jon.
