Portillo's Avon

I owe a big thanks to Greg Miller from Kinda Funny for introducing me to this restaurant. I had no idea it was so close to me, but I had heard him rave about it for years. I'm really glad I finally got the chance to try it. I ordered the beef sandwich, chili dog, cheese, and onion rings, and everything was outstanding. There's no doubt that I'll be coming back! Unfortunately, the shake machine was out of order, so I couldn't try the chocolate cake shake, but I will definitely return to give it a shot!

Delicious comfort food and stylish decor make this restaurant a standout. The walls are adorned with numerous historical photos from the 1930s, adding to the ambiance. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the establishment is impeccably clean. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with others.

Its a bit expensive, but its very good. The milkshakes, especially strawberry are awesome, and the Strawberry Shortcake is worth going for by itself. I've eaten here several times over the last few weeks.

The Italian beef and hamburgers are sizable, and the service is impressively quick, especially given the COVID precautions they have in place.

Portillo is the best. Excellent quality food exactly boiled. It's just a treat.
