Ugly Crab - Avon

I absolutely love this place! It's my favorite restaurant; the food is delicious and the staff is fantastic!

The atmosphere is very casual – you order at the counter, and they bring the food out hot and delicious. It can get a bit pricey when two people order the crab and shrimp boil, and I'm not sure how it stacks up against other similar restaurants, but it’s definitely worth indulging in every now and then. We will absolutely be coming back again and again. As for kid-friendliness, they were very accommodating and even volunteered to show my 15-year-old granddaughter how to eat crawfish, while presenting my 11-year-old granddaughter with cheesecake for her birthday! Parking is available in the strip mall.

We chose Ugly Crab for a last-minute birthday dinner, and it did not disappoint. The food was just as good as we remembered from previous visits. We decided to have our seafood served with the sauce on the side since our kids have preferred it that way in the past, and it turned out well. The only minor issue was that the cleanliness around the tables, sink area, and drink fountain could use a bit more attention. Overall, it was a nice dining experience.
