Romeo's Pizza - Avon Lake

The restaurant has a sweet red sauce that may be too sweet for some, so be sure to request it light. In my opinion, it is the best pizza around, with a great variety of options on the menu, although pizza is the most popular choice. The pizzas are made fresh daily.

I am disappointed with the treatment I received two days ago at the restaurant. While I like their pizza, I am not sure if I will order from them again. I have been a loyal customer of Romeos since they opened in Avon Lake. A month ago, I ordered pizza and garlic sticks, but when I got home, I received garlic bread ($3.49) instead of the cheese garlic sticks ($6.99) that I had ordered and paid for. I called the restaurant to inform them of the mistake, and they apologized and offered me a $10 credit. I accepted this as a fair resolution, but when I tried to use the credit on a $35 order last Friday, the person on the phone claimed there was no record of it and refused to honor it. I decided to speak to the manager in person when I picked up my order, but he was uncooperative and dismissive. I asked if there was someone else I could speak to, but he claimed to be the manager and showed no interest in resolving the issue. Despite my calm demeanor, he was rude and unwilling to assist me. I have never asked for a credit before, and I believe that I am not the only customer who has experienced this unprofessional behavior from the manager. I hope that the owner will address this issue so that they do not lose any more customers.

This restaurant serves the best pizza. The employees are extremely friendly and always ready to serve with a smile.

Would have given 0 stars if possible, the employees are incredibly rude. They refused to process my order claiming they never received it… after I received a confirmation email they had received payment and were making my order. Luckily my credit card company was able to reverse the charge. Don’t order from these thieves

My husband and I drive out there about once a week for their pizza. Yummy.
