Wild Turkey Tavern - Avon Park

The service was excellent, and the alligator tail is the best I've ever had. I ordered a burger with chips, while my wife enjoyed the oyster po' boy. Her sandwich was fantastic!

I took my family to the Wild Turkey for the first time on January 29, 2022, and they had a fantastic experience! They loved everything from the food to the service and the vibrant atmosphere. We had to try the gator tail, and it was a hit! My kids were particularly impressed by the mounted game on the walls. During my last few years in the Air Force, specifically from 2008 to 2014 while working at the bombing range, I visited the Wild Turkey often, especially when military units came to train, and they always enjoyed it as well! It was great to see the new outdoor dining option today; it was definitely worth the drive from Manatee County, and as usual, the Wild Turkey did not disappoint!

Excellent service! The Bloody Mary was amazing, and the food was fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed every bite, from the gator tail to the fried green tomatoes to the burgers!

Last time had visited a delicious grilled chicken sandwich. Homemade ranch cannot beat it.

It's Friday during fasting....and... I would have had sewn beef and cabbage, but unfortunately nothing special for fish sandwich was huge!....coleslaw and chips were nice, but there was missing taste?... still love Turkey!!????
