We only took a court because we found that the restaurant did not follow the COVID rules. The tables were not at a proper distance, and my chair touched the chair of my neighbour. We choose the brochette with Gambas and the Brochette Canard. The Gambas were well prepared and still juicy. The taste was excellent and the risotto was also very tasteful. The canard was malignant, as ordered the smell of dishes that were served filled the room. From a price perspective you can really go here.
I don't know if the boss is in fact Mauricio, but anyway, that's traditional Spanish Pyrénées cooking best. Tapas, meat or fish (inc. squid) a la plancha, paellas or confits, everything is fresh and tasty (or looks delicious... we could not taste everything) and does not come with boring frits, but made with exquisite house sautées potatoes. Of course, a family business, the atmosphere is warm and even the bill is quite friendly.
An excellent food corner where tapas and paella are suggested on best way , as for ingredients and price. Satisfactory menus , specially for meat and good list of wines. Staff really kindly and involving atmosphere inside at the tables.
We stopped here for a late lunch arriving after 1.30 and being welcomed is a unusual experience in France. The restaurant was still fairly full but the food we ordered came very quickly. The other half had a chicken and pork kebab that was...delicious,followed by a very good lemon meringue pie, the pudding of the day. My cuttlefish and albondigas was a bit so so the veal meatballs were delicious but the cuttlefish was overcooked and rubbery. Nonetheless, we both enjoyed our meal and will go back again if we are in the area.
