We have two young children (ages 4 and 2) and the staff at the restaurant were extremely welcoming. They were willing to accommodate our fussy eaters by altering their menu options. Our drinks arrived promptly and were served at the perfect temperature. I ordered a hot chocolate, while the children had babyccinos, and we were all able to enjoy them right away. The food was served warm and satisfying, exactly what we needed after our walk. The variety of cake flavors offered something for everyone, and we left the restaurant already looking forward to our next stroll.
We went to have a quick lunch with our son and two young grandchildren. The restaurant was very busy due to half term, but we were not informed about the long wait for our food. We ended up waiting 40 minutes for two children's meals, two coffees, and two pies. The total came to £27, which seemed excessive for what we received. Unfortunately, I cannot think of any reason to recommend this place to anyone.
My family ordered the bacon and brie panini, which was also disappointingly flat, crunchy, and lacking in flavor. The tea was frothy and tasteless, and considering the price, the meal was not enjoyable. I doubt we will return to this restaurant. Additionally, the walls could use some soft furnishings to help reduce the noise levels, as it was difficult to hear ourselves think.
Good veggie breakfast and freindly service. Not many cafes in the area so I was happy to find this one.
We have been to Pitstone for coffee and cake and today Lunch in The Gliding Club. Fantastic value, great selection of cakes, yummy lunch. I had bubble squeak with egg and bacon which was so tasty. Service with a smile too.
