No2 Pound Street - Aylesbury Vale

There is no doubt that this restaurant offers a great selection of cheese, wines, and other food options. I particularly enjoyed when it also functioned as a wine bar. I have visited similar establishments in mainland Europe and appreciate the concept, but they are not as common in the UK, so it was a rare discovery. However, it seems that it has now transitioned solely to a wine and cheese shop. I have deducted two points for the removal of the wine bar.

This restaurant is incredible, with delicious food and wine. Definitely worth a visit!

Popped in today to spend a voucher I got at Christmas. Bought 3 cheeses after tasting them. Really pleased and tasty. The Westcombe had spent 31 months aging, 28 of those months at No.2 incredible. Would love to see Majestic Wine style tasting notes . The chap who served us was incredibly knowledgeable but I have mostly forgotten what he said

Missed them not being at Tring Market, so made the non to far journey to Wendover. As ever, stock a wide range of fine cheeses. If you like REAL cheese, well worth the visit.
