Arrived around 5 minutes from closing time waited patiently in the queue. Asked if they would still fry a fish for me, the owner laughed at me and said we're closing now! A simple polite sorry would have done! On my banned list for extremely poor customer service

Throw a dice in air. Either this fish and chips shop or the other in Alnwick and I have to say this one pips the post. Lovely crispy fish and dry chips served by very friendly staff. Worth a visit. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Always get excellent fish and chips here. It’s the best in the local area. Service is good and always friendly. Would highly recommend.
