Forehill Cafe - Ayr

I had to wait 25 minutes because the woman at the front didn’t understand the ordering system. I ordered a burger made from scratch, which I expected to be hot and delicious, but I was disappointed. The fritters had been sitting on the hot plate the entire time I waited, so they were cold and greasy, even though I specifically requested them to be hot. I could see that there were fresh options available, and the chips looked good as well. They have a large selection of beautiful foods, but unfortunately, my experience was not what I had hoped for.

Excellent old-fashioned fish and chips! I can't recall the last time I enjoyed such high-quality fare. The ambiance was lovely, too.

The fish and chips here are fantastic! I can't wait to try the smoked squid in batter next.

A great chippy, great selection of food. they will not be disappointed from here. the above statement I'm going forward is a piece that I add after another visit. most of the employees are good, but some have to smile more and stop making it clear if they are not in the best moods. the customer service makes the difference!

Excellent service with very competitive pricing and more importantly is the grub (very tasty, compliment to the chef) A must try, if you are in the mood, for a fry up.. Yummy
