Kalamia Hotel - Ayr

Six of us dined at this restaurant. Three of us ordered the salmon, which we all enjoyed. I decided to try the ribs, which were large, tender, and delicious. The other two members of our group ordered garlic prawns and chicken, and they were also pleased with their meals. I was able to use my star card to get a 25% discount on my meal, bringing the price of the ribs down to $25. Unfortunately, the discount did not apply to the other five guests in our party. The menu had a decent selection, but it was somewhat limited and there was no senior menu available. The specials board used to be great, but it seems to have been scaled back. I found the manager to be aloof and not overly concerned with customer satisfaction, even with regulars. Depending on when you visit, getting a drink anywhere other than the public bar can be time-consuming. However, the bar and gaming staff were very friendly and helpful overall.

Good pub, bistro meal. Lunch specials are excellent value. Nice roast dinner, baked barramundi special too. Good setting. Nice coffee after. Staff very capable and helpful. Glad we ate there

Had a birthday meal on 12/03/22, the food service was spot on.I must commend Duty Manager Petrina,her service and communication is excellent .We will be going back,thx for making our night special.

Always a good place. the personal is always friendly and the beer is always good. elliott in the playroom is great. always happy and chatting. eating is very good.
