Mexico City of Industrial North Side, Azcapotzalco, is not the first place to look for Indian food, but those seeking Varanasi will not be disappointed. Located on the second floor of a mini-mall, this intimate restaurant offers a wealth of Indian food from...samosas and pakoras to naan, masalas, vindaloos, and much more, all reasonable prices and served with a smile of very professional waiting staff. There are many vegetarian as well as meaty options, natural juices and Lassi menu, plus a brand new lunch buffet for $80 MXN. Varanasi also has a popular Mexican menu for less adventurous diners. All in all, a real treat for this American exploit looking for something else on the north side of DF.
