Kotsu Ramen Gyoza - Azusa

Place was trendy, spacious with ample parking. Menu is varied asian fusion and ramen-based AND and somewhat pricey (5 small gyoza dumplings for $8!! . The ramen bowl I ordered was very tasty but skimped on the pork belly for a $14 price tag. I've beento other ramen joints where they offer equally appetizing, if not more, bowls of generous proportions that may be a couple ofdollars less. Good service though!!

Quality ramen shop. I love their simple kotsu ramen and their Tacoyaki is the BEST! It?s very crispy balls with octopus pieces. They give out free water cups without asking and it?s very clean eating area with option for outdoor seating. It can get cold inthere easily. The ramen starts at $11.99.

The family went for dinner. We tried the vegan matcha ramen, tonyu ramen and tonyu kick ramen. All were good, the matcha didn’t taste much different from the plain tonyu. The tonyu kick was spicier but not much, next time I will get the tonyu flame which is supposed to be very hot. All were very tasty but slightly sweet broth but it was rich and had a nice mouthfeel. The vegan gyoza were delicious. Will definitely go again

I bumped my rating up to 4 stars once I found out they use real dishes when you dine in. The ramen and gyozas are excellent and filling! Updated from previous review on 2024-01-16

Many of their flavors can be made vegan. The Vegan Matcha Madness is freaking delicious!
