Satu Thai Bistro - Azusa

Delicious Thai cuisine in SGV. It's clean and the food is fresh. The quantities are generous and the price is fair. They use fresh herbs from their garden. Definitely recommend.

Don't look! I tried the Bbq chicken and it was phenomenal. Whenever I'm back in the LA/ Azusa area, I'm going to look over again.

The restaurant has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. We decided to stop for lunch and were delighted to discover an authentic, family-owned Thai experience. The space isn't large, featuring 8 tables inside and 4 more on a small terrace, and it maintains a casual vibe without being overly loud. I was particularly impressed by the kitchen staff, who were all wearing hats and masks for food safety. We ordered the Spicy Basil with Thai Chili and the Black Pepper Garlic entrees, along with Spring Rolls as an appetizer, and everything was absolutely delicious!

Update 9/28/20 What can I say I don't already. Stellar food and better service. From collection, delivery and diving. Always great. This time was picked up and the food and service was just as good as ever. My GF and I prefer different spice levels and they don't like onions, smells or tomatoes, so we always adjust our orders. What impressed me is that they never messed up an order. We even went to two different spices for salad dressing and they always have room. As for the food this trip was delicious. It's a month or so since our last trip through the pandemic, so the food just tastes better than we remember. Will need to make sure that not wait so long before the next trip. ———— one of the best Thai places I have ever been. Flavors are amazing and service impeccable. Go to dishes are the spicy Beef Salad and Penang Curry, but have tried many others and all were great. Only mistakes I've ever made was to order items that are sharp what they take seriously. I had to adapt to Med Spicy, which is perfect for most and then it can kick with her spicy sauces as needed. The one with green Chiles is fire. When you dive, they also give you a small portion of ice that always meets the spot.

This is some of the best Thai food I've ever tasted! The portions are generous and beautifully presented, accompanied by warm and friendly service. It’s an excellent value for the quality of food. I drove quite a distance to dine here, and I would happily make the trip again.
