The Brantham Bull - Babergh

My wife and I visited this pub for the first time and had lunch there today (22nd Feb). It was superb! The pub is beautifully decorated and furnished, with ample space between tables. The staff were all very polite, friendly, and efficient. The food took a little while to come out, but this was understandable as they clearly cook everything fresh when it's busy. The menu had a great variety of options. I chose the gammon with two eggs, pineapple, chips, and peas, and was impressed by the large portion of high-quality meat. My wife enjoyed the skate wing with new potatoes and fresh vegetables, but the portion size was so generous that she couldn't finish it! We will definitely be returning soon. Thank you.

I just got back from a fantastic Sunday roast at The Bull. I've been here for drinks before, but this was my first time dining. The service was excellent with friendly staff and generous portion sizes. The roast lamb was delicious and served piping hot, with fresh vegetables that tasted like a homemade family meal. The atmosphere was lively and bustling, but the service was still prompt. I highly recommend The Bull, but suggest booking ahead on Sundays as it's a popular spot! Great job, Team!

So lucky to have this pub local to me! Only been in a handful of times (so far) but everytime it has been fantastic Food is beyond scrummy, huge portions, well presented and home cooked vibes. Staff are friendly, attentive and nothing is too much trouble. The wine selection is great! The atmosphere of the pub is cosy and welcoming. It has wonderful additions from books to read, to quiz cards on the tables as ice breakers. Its spacious and dog friendly too, with amazing views across the River Stour. This is an establishment whose owners have thought of everything you can think of to make people feel welcome and it works! A properly run, community spirited pub a real rare find! Love it!
