Make sure you make a reservation for a fantastic Sunday lunch experience. This cozy, family-owned cafe in an old-fashioned industrial estate serves up a delicious Sunday lunch.
I went to Wally's Shed with some friends for Saturday breakfast, and the experience would have been enjoyable if it wasn't for the mistreatment of a young assistant. The elderly woman running the cafe seemed overwhelmed and constantly vented her anger at the 13-year-old assistant, JayZee. We chose to sit outside to avoid the abuse, but the woman came out for a cigarette break and made some colorful remarks. The food was mediocre and the restaurant looked rundown, but the entertainment value at Wally's Shed is definitely worth a visit.
Breakfast wasn’t included with a hotel in Lavenham and somebody recommended Wallys. It was half the price as good as any full English breakfast at a hotel. The staff were very friendly and everything arrived quickly and piping hot. There was lots of toast included which I really like.
Woman in charge,Really foul mouth, especialy to the other young girl. Not A long wait for order to arrive. Not Hot and came accross as reheated leftovers from the day before?Sausages were unedible! Bacon was like beef jerky! She also payed more attention to feeding the wild birds out the back, than helping the other girl who was clearly overworked and out of he depth.
