Still coming to terms with the fact that I found this in Bacalar, of all places. The flavours and heat levels are pretty much spot on to what I would receive back home. There were ingredients used in the food that I have never seen in Indian food outside of India. I 've seen a lot of British Indian food become popular as Authentic Indian over the years and it has always been extremely disappointing when it inevitably ends up being food tailored to a western palette. This place is the very first in my many years of travels that did not do that. When they say authentic, they mean authentic . To top it, a really warm, friendly atmosphere..almost like eating a family meal at someone 's tropical backyard in southern India. The setting reminded me (and others) of Goa. I couldn 't be happier that I found this and was able to join at the very last minute on my short visit to Bacalar. Would return every week if I lived here. Full points. No notes.
By far the best Indian food I ever had!
