Altes Haus - Bacharach

We were with friends for lunch there. eating was very good, the service friendly and fast. the historical gas rooms radiate warmth and comfort. the toilets are clean and appropriate.We felt comfortable all around.

In juni 2017 I visited the restaurant for dinner. the food was in order, the stay outside also goes like this (cars stop passing by sometimes) the house was only renovated! the peculiarities, however, do not matter what narrow, old and impossible toilets the customer has to go on. I can't understand that! was my last visit!

House was renovated in the last year. we came to fourth and waited beaten 30min for the service. we went back. but seems to be in the opposite usus.

The restaurant is located in the historic center of the small and charming village bacharach in a typical and well maintained old house. also the interior that consists of several rooms is stylishly decorated with dark wood. the menu contains typical local dishes: panted pork fillet, meatballs, sworn with kartoffels etc. the walks were abundant and presented in a simple way. as one of the desserts ordered had gone out, the chef came out to apologize. the service was otherwise accommodating but impersonal. the waitress spoke good enough English.

The "old house" from the year 1568 (naturally renovated) is definitely worth a visit. very tasteful ambiente, with a cosy, rather calm atmosphere. We ordered a barley dish in the evening. in the amount ' manageable' but in taste by pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil excellently composed with parmesan and Rukola pesto something for fine-smelling. service friendly. clear recommendation.
