I once lived in the eifel, know some places on the Rhine, ahr and mosel, for my man it was new and he was totally enthusiastic. near the Protestant church we returned to lunch. the old bakery is an Italian restaurant, modern and cozy furnished, with friendly staff. tasty pizza pasta, dessert and finest cake invite. the place was well visited, correspondingly it takes a few minutes to operate. no problem, we had vacation and could observe it locally. it was cool the day, I ordered tee, my man a bee, pasta and for me pizza. while we waited for the food we met an older man. with his superior he wanted to accompany a former school friend in the last rest. the man was a former renner, comes from bastach, now lives in bingen and told me exciting stories from his life. also from his pig, which is now used by the daughter, because he should not drive alone 93! we could look at photos from his life and the enthusiasm of the senior to speak about past times has deeply touched me. I will not forget this wonderful conversation so quickly and the time to serve the diner went quickly. the food was nicely prepared, freshly prepared, advised Italian and was a pleasure. the prices quite reasonable, pizza about 8€ pasta to 12€ sure that we often make so short vacation. Germany is beautiful and it is worth exploring our country.
Pippo makes the best pizza. I'm always sad when he goes over the winter. but then the first pizza tastes so good next year.
Very small but very cozy dining room, sitting outside, in the historic center. excellent real Italian pizza, my favorite pizza Aubergine/Prossciutto parmesan. thinner crispy etage and not overloaded with cheese. also very good noodle dishes. genuine Italian cuisine prepared and served by pippo and his daughter.
Each other restaurant had closed the outside seats after a rain shower, but not pippo. we enjoyed our meal and friendly service only slightly pampered by a customer who made a damper that the tables were not completely 2m apart (this health-conscious lady...then went on to smoke 3 cigarettes in the run of her meal
Good location, courtesy service also in English, served US style pizza (pizza hat). can recommend for a quick pizza experience!
