Best rice and beans I've ever had and the cheeses of Enchiladas are neither bad...

Growing up in a Mexican family there comes a time when you miss that type of cooking only your mother or grandmother could possibly make. That good old fashioned flavor of a home cooked meal. When I first got to Anthony's, the exterior left much to be desired, the interior was a bit beat up. However, one thing I've learned in nearly 20 years of living in the Houston area is that good food can be found in all sorts of places. Anthony's Mexican restaurant is a familiar taste to all of those who appreciate and love homestyle Mexican cooking. My visit was fantastic. The food smelled amazing and tasted even better. My server Johnny was both knowledgeable and charming. I highly recommend the Al Pastor! Every time I pass by I make an effort to stop here and I recommend you do the same!

The service was excellent; the staff was very friendly. The queso and guacamole were both delicious. The tamales were nicely seasoned, the enchiladas were decent, and the beans had a unique flavor compared to what you typically find at most restaurants.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and it was fantastic! The rice was cooked to perfection, and the salsa was equally amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious, and our waiter was both friendly and attentive. The prices are excellent as well! I’ll definitely be returning and only wish I had tried it sooner!

Fantastic service, tasty food, and delicious margaritas right around the corner from home. It doesn't get better than that!
