We visited the place at 6:00pm on a Friday. There was only 1 visitor here aside from us. I remember I visited this place back in 2017 at noon and the place was a bit packed. There was also a lot to see in the Ruins at that time. The place is still beautiful, but the old fixtures ans other displays were placed in one room, probably to protect them from the rain. There are still a lot of spots to take a photo of, namely, the ourside of the building, the fountain, and the trees where lights are hung. If you like history and would love to hear the story of this building, this is for you, if that's not your cup of tea, then there's not much for you to do here aside from taking photos. There was a man inside an area entertaining guests, who I believe could share the background of this building.
It is a must see when you are in Bacolod. The best time to visit is around 5 pm. So you will get sunlight as well as the dawn and nightfall. Absolutely stunning. Extraordinary place to take pictures and just to chill and relax. I really enjoyed coming here a lot. I love the pictures I took. And it is not that expensive to get I too.
The place is well maintained, especially the landscape area. However, there are a lot of mosquitoes. Growing plants that repels insects will do. The food was average. Nothing special. But pricey. But the mansion itself is really magical. Specially at night. Too pretty to missed out.
I loved this place! It is best to go here during sunset so that you'll get to see it with and without the lights on. There's an entrance fee when you go inside. You can choose 100 for just the entrance fee or 300 consumable which you can use at their restaurant and the entrance is free. Food is great at the restaurant since we had our lunch there. The Ruins is picture perfect outside. There is also a souvenir shop inside. But not much of activities though. Just take pictures and eat.
