Zum Holländer Hof - Bad Arolsen

The room was clean and very welcoming. Much like you would expect from the picture. However, the service gets unfriendly as soon as you ask them for any favours, such as being allowed to arrive a bit later or to use a table after you’ve checked-out in order to get some work done.

We only ate at the restaurant so I can 't judge the rooms. The young waiter wasn 't very polite although not rude, but he seemed a tad 'lost '. The other staff were very nice and professional. The menu and the restaurant in general however show very little Dutch influences. They have a lunch menu that have some typical Dutch snacks but I wouldn 't go there to experience some sense of Holland. In short: not bad not great.

Good location in the centre of town. Some of the rooms are very dated and lack any kind of sound proofing. overpriced.

Very nice room, great shower room with rain shower, tw, on the boxspring bed we have super sleep! in the restaurant we ate very tasty and drank in a cozy atmosphere. we like to come back. in summer there is a terrace for a cozy stay under the sunshade.

For long waiting times 1,5hd promised seasoned reserveribs, were unequal. on the grill dish was missing the promised bark meat instead of its 2 pieces and hands, and the alleged garlic sauce was greasy and greasy.
