When you get up and ask for a menu, they were brutally told to find one from another table. We voted with our feet and went a little further to another guesthouse where the service was prompt, courtesy and food delicious
A great place, two steps from the cable car station. The views are incredible, the food is completely fresh and perfectly cooked and presented. The service was wonderful, and the manager himself is a model of the traditional bathroom Ischl hospitality and kindness. If you are in the region, this place is a must!
Just a great stop at the top of the rope lift. All enthusiastic hikers ended there for a beer and a warm farewell. Beautiful surroundings.
Visit here for 9 years. The look at the Dachstein is amazing, but not to be put off by bad weather. Inside the cottage you will find a very warm welcome in the traditional environment. The menu is simple, but the daily specialties are excellent. How Erwin produces this in such a tiny environment is a secret. Tuesdays are local music and sing along the afternoons. Not to miss. You are insured by a warm welcome. I just got my men 70. Birthday celebrated here. Great. Popular with skitourists also in winter
We are not walkers but this was a great place to go up to on the Katrin Seil Bahn (cable car) and have a tasty lunch and drinks while basking in the sunshine and enjoying spectacular mountain views. The proprietor Erwin Lechner is very welcoming and a bit of a character. If you are walking then I'm sure it is great as a stop on your walk.
