Bella Vista - Bad Kreuznach

Outside and inside, the restaurant is nicely decorated and the setting is excellent. The menu offers an intriguing and large selection of dishes. Presentations at neighboring tables were appealing to the eye and it looked like we had made an excellent choice. The first problem...was that the waiter might as well not have worn the required mask as it covered neither his nose nor mouth. We commented on that and he corrected it with an annoyed look. The same was true of the server who brought bread and condiments. Our meal took quite long to be come. As we waited we noticed that hardly any of the staff followed the rules. When I saw the Manager going from table to table, I mentioned that neither he nor his staff were complying with the rules. He became belligerent and said that as the owner he did not have to. He explained that the fully enclosed porch was technically outside. We observed that neither he nor his staff donned their masks even when they went indoors to the kitchen or to the indoor dining area. With that, he moved to put his face within cm of mine, but I held my napkin in front of his face. After reading other reviews, this arrogant behavior is typical of the manager and many of the staff. What is sad is that the restaurant has such potential! The careless attitude of the staff and arrogant behavior of the manager prevent it from being a First Class Restaurant. Were it not for the staff and management, I could have written a very different review.

We sat for minutes , nobody even came to ask for drinks. We left then without eating. The owner and staff is not Italian.

If you are looking for a top quality restaurant to take either your family or friends to, with a quaint surrounding then this is the restaurant offering food with the ideal location to dine out in .I would safely say it’s the best restaurant...in the region. I can recommend their dry aged steak or any of their daily sourced fresh fish dishes, it is what will keep you coming back for more !! My friends and I had both the steak and fish dishes and we can safely say it’s one of the best Mediterranean restaurants we have ate in.

Very nice and friendly service. One of the best pizzas that we have ever eat. Fish food are also excellent.

We celebrated my son‘s birthday here with a group of five people. Everybody‘s food was excellent! It was prepared from fresh, local ingredients. Delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant is cozy, yet elegant with a gorgeous view to the river. Our waiter was attentive,...friendly and caring. Thank you for the perfect evening! We liked Restaurant Bella Vista so much, that we returned a few days later and had an equally perfect lunch.
