Hoped to have lunch after walking to Toplitzsee. Only 2 staff serving and one taking orders! Hopelessly under staffed for a busy Sunday lunch. When trying to attract attention, staff deliberately avoided eye contact. Some pleasant people on the next table pointed out to the waiter how long we had been waiting only to be told that the customers were his problem and they should enjoy their holiday! We left after 40 minutes all the hungrier and thirstier

Very nice restaurant. However, french friet very salt. Cheese wiener schnitzel was cold and tastes horrible. Afterwards, bill was €10 too high and needed to be corrected. Too bad as we had high expectations

We visited this Gasthof several times during our Grundlsee holidays. It has nice location under the big rock wall and outside seats are in the shadow of big trees. There is served very tasty national meals. Service is perfect and pleasant. It is also less than 10 minutes of walk from Gößl if local restaurants are occupied there. And it is worth it.
