Here was cooked with love! We were there for lunch, were nicely greeted and had a nice table. The food came a la Carte, but from a small lunch card. Nevertheless, everything came as ordered, freshly prepared, good and plentiful. Only the seasoning could be stronger, but that's a matter of taste. Top! Typical Schamburgisch-Deutsch: meat-loaded, generous portions, often non-sustainable reference. The steaks are sometimes excellent, sometimes not because the cooking point is sometimes not hit. As with too many other restaurants, “medium” on the plate is then “medium-rare” or even “rare”. The staff is unfortunately incapable of criticism. My steak (Medium ordered, get rare) was fried without asking or taking a brief position.Visit from 2020.

My motto, I'd rather spend a little more, and I'd rather wait a little longer than get angry about it because you saved yourself in the wrong end. Quality has its price and this is always present in the Schaumburger Hof in Horsten. Oh yes, even the ambience has changed positively after the Corana period (as of 20.05.20), with small renovations and stylish decorations. Not frightened Mrs. Hellmann, we will definitely come back
