Old restaurant with typical Bavarian cuisine. The atmosphere is pleasantly rustic. The food top. The pork roast was super and very freshly prepared. On request, an Kaiserschmarn was prepared freshly. Both were delicious.
Unfortunately the visit was not as pleasant as expected. the offered pork roast was not of special quality (very fat, the crust not crispy very hard,) the toast dumplings as supplement were still almost raw in the core, but the crumble salad was good. there was a high noise level, the crew began to clean and clean 20:30. we wanted to stay a little longer, but then we already accepted at 21:30, after we were the last guests.
On Sunday afternoon we returned to the first time in the brownstüberl and we were surprised how well the renovation has succeeded, the ambiente comes very close to the old brownsüberl, very successful the opening of the former next room, which is now integrated into the local. eating was very good, the service friendly and fast. the price-performance ratio was in order, although it now moves upwards.
