Cafeteria In Der Elbtalklinik

We had a nice summer Sunday in July 2019 we wanted to visit an older lady from our family during her rehab at the Elbtal Hospital. Behind the entrance of the main building of the Elbtal Hospital we found this cafeteria on the left. She's still empty, maybe we're a little too early on our arrival before lunch. Overall, the café makes a very clean and tidy impression on me. Seats for guests are only sufficient, but this will change after 14:00 when the main start of the weekend visitors arrive. We just come in and take a seat in the seating area. Nobody bothers that there is no patient or patient with us. That's why I assume this is a public café. In addition to the usual coffee, tea or cocoa, lime juices, water, cakes, cakes and pastries, there is also a small selection of candy and newspapers /postcards. The ladies behind the tress are successful in fulfilling the wishes of their guests. We find prices really good and also affordable for less well visited patients and visitors. For example, the cake pieces of a variety of cakes offered (fruit cake, cream cake, chocolate cake, wind bag cake, Frankfurter Kranz, cream cuts... so between 2.40 Euro and 2.60 Euro. If you want to eat fruit, you can also get a part of fruit salad for 1.65 euros with fruit cut in mouth-like pieces. The cup of coffee costs 1.50 euros, the pot coffee is for 2.00 euros. There are also coffee preparations like Latte Macciato for 2.50 euros. And the best thing was, it all tasted us here. We were three, and we were all three more than satisfied with the taste of the delicacies we sold.
