Bean There Cafe - Baddeck

Quaint small coffee shop with an excellent breakfast... staff was friendly... lots of locals coming and going in the morning and interacting with staff... can't go wrong here for breakfast

We stopped in there today after deciding to support local rather than a chain coffee shop nearby. The man behind the counter acted like we were a bother and snapped at me when I placed my order. I was tempted to snap back but took decided to go high when they go low, as the saying goes. My daughter’s order was wrong but we didn’t realize this till we were in the car. So disappointing.

I have been coming here for years and love when I get to have a breakfast sandwich on an errand in Baddeck. Great cappuccinos and baked goods. Always friendly. The local art on the walls is also great to look at.

Quaint coffee shop in a great location. The coffee was great and the scones delicious. The staff were super friendly and clearly enjoyed great relationships with the many locals who stopped by first thing in the morning as a visitor it was wonderful to see these interactions. It won't surprise you to learn we went back more than once!

My favourite coffee shop! Unpretentious, excellent coffee and a great place to catch up with the locals. Open year-round too! Be sure to have one of their amazing scones with your coffee.
