Badger Diner

We have eaten here several times and I have to say our meals were awesome , The service was great,and the staff are very friendly !!! There was a little wait ,which is to be expected considering the place was packed and the staff was literally running around trying to do their best, It was well worth it !!,,Home style food is always worth the wait regardless of where we go,,we will be back again and again,,,Awesome place!!!

I have eaten a lot of fish and chips over the years but this is by far the best I have ever eaten. Huge portions and the taste is to die for. Excellent and friendly service also a very clean restaurant. The staff make you feel like you are in your own kitchen eating. I ate here in July while I was home attending the Buchans Come Home Year 2017 celebrations. Thanks again to the staff of Badger Diner for making a Newfoundlander from away feel like family.

When you imagine homely Newfoundland restaurant this is the definition. From the moment I arrived to the minute I left I felt like I was eating at grandmas. The staff is extremely friendly, I felt like I have known them my whole life after just chatting for a few moments. They prepared the best jiggs dinner I have ever eaten in my life! The service was quick and they were accommodating. This is not a restaurant, this a full service eatery that takes care of your problems and leaves you feeling satisfied. Next time I am on the rock I will surely return!!!

Today was the first time I ever ate at this diner. My husband, father in law and my son are basically regulars there and today I finally had my chance to eat here. Friday's lunch special is 2 pieces of fish and chips, and boy was it ever delicious! My hubby had the Badger Diner burger. Wish I had room for that too because that also looked delicious. Awesome service all around! Can't wait till the next time I get to go! I highly recommend this as a place to go.

The best fish and chips on the island gravy is out of this world awesome service no shortage of food on your plate would i go back again for sure ...friendly atmosphere
