Boutique Herbergh Amsterdam Airport

Overall good night sleep, the hotel lacks character but the resturant/bar attached is adorable. If you want a good night's sleep the beds in our room were amazing, the decor not so much. If you need a good place to sleep close to airport this is the spot.

Very convenient to the airport with a one way complimentary shuttle. Great restaurant attached so no need to try and find somewhere to eat once checked in. They offer a tastey breakfast with a variety of offerings. Room was clean, and simple. And everyone I met here was friendly and helpful.

We stayed 1 night arriving at 10 pm from an evening flight. We took the free shuttle from the airport, got off at the Ramada down the road and walked about 200m to the hotel, crossing 1 main road (safe crossing with lights . Very happy to have chosen this charming hotel, which gave us a great start to our stay in the Netherlands! We were met by smiling, helpful staff. The hotel is very clean and bright with modern, fresh smelling large rooms. Nice breakfast with great coffee. We didn't hear a single aeroplane at all, and had a good, comfortable sleep (I am a light sleeper . Saw many buses at the main road, that seemed could make an easy ride to some of the towns around Amsterdam, so that may be worth checking out. We took an Uber into the city as it was just about the same price and time saving/easier than going by train back at the airport (3 travellers . Will be going back to the Netherlands to explore more next year or maybe before, and will definately book my airport overnight stay at the Herbergh :

Ik heb niet in dit hotel verbleven, maar ik heb wel gebeld voor informatie. De receptionist kon me echter geen informatie geven omdat ze met iets anders bezig was. Ik wilde gewoon iets vragen... jammer, want we wilden reserveren, maar dat is nu niet meer het geval. Ze zei dat we na 15:00 uur opnieuw moesten bellen, maar dat was niet mogelijk; we hebben vandaag een hotel nodig en op basis daarvan moesten we ons vervoer regelen. Het is beter dat het hotel iemand voor de receptie heeft en iemand anders voor de mise en place.

Ben hier in de afgelopen jaren vaker geweest en toen zeker 4 sterren gegeven; sliep toen in kamer aan achterzijde en dat is prima.Nu echter aan de voorkant; kamer is erg warm en om te luchten raam open echter met het verkeer niet te doen om te slapen. Raam dicht dempt geluid maar maakt kamer benauwd..... geen airco of ventilatie systeem.Prijsstelling voor kamer achterzijde is ok maar kamers voorzijde (weg) veel te duur.Moet om 05:00 op ivm vlucht maar betwijfel of ik überhaupt kan slapen.
