......."Au Bec Fin" is a restaurant in St Paul en Foret and NOT Bagnols en Foret! Unless of course it was all a dream? I have reviewed this restaurant and found it good why the geographical misnomer? Maybe I gotta go back and check? Watch this space!
Reception, staff and pleasant surroundings. menus offered at reasonable and copied prices. ingredients used of good quality. Little nice restaurant to do if you're in the corner!Only negative, a little wait. The restaurant was well filled, we're on vacation so we're making the dead!
We went there at 5 one evening in February 2014. off vacation period so. We were about fifteen in the evening in the room. We were very welcome by the waitress. There was only one menu (5 admissions, 5 dishes, 5 different desserts) to 29 euros. We all took this menu.Before we even started by the entrance, the waitress brings some pieces of pizza, then tapnade with toasted bread. It doesn't stop there: a small cocoon of jacque sts and pike qunelles (very excellent!!) then arrives. All this is not included in the menu, so our entries will then arrive (sardine or calf rice or deer terrine). quality and quantity, a feast still... follow our dishes (pink, wild boar or dorade). A delight. we end with dessert (burned cream, white lady...). A good bottle of wine and a coffee. we went out with a coffee for a total of 191 euros for 5 people. in the light of the meal, nothing excessive, on the contrary...To avoid spoiling anything, you enjoy a superb view of the mountains.
