Don Henrico's - Baguio

The ambiance is great, with both indoor and terrace seating, making it suitable for solo diners as well as small groups. However, I did notice that they don’t provide service water. We ordered a few dishes, and here's what we tried: - **Bratkaffee**: It comes with one sugar packet and one cream packet, and it was quite a pleasant surprise. - **Mozzarella Cheese Sticks**: While they were delicious, I found the portion size a bit smaller than expected. - **Buttered Chicken**: This dish was my favorite! It comes with a tasty garlic sauce and the serving size is generous. - **Pizza**: We were able to customize our order by requesting half of it to be one type, while the other half was a delightful three-cheese option. Overall, I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving Italian cuisine!

Don Hen has been my favorite pizza place because of their pizza carbonara and nachos since my college days. Was a little disappointed when I dined here with my kids last 2015... but then, we went just this month, and this time, I recognized the old Don Henrico's that I knew. We had the Nachos N' Dip, Corn Chowder with Ham, Caribbean Green Salad, Pizza Carbonara (of course , Baked Lasagna, Tutto De Mare Pasta and Smoked Chicken With White Cheese on Wheat Bread... yum! :

The original Don Henrico's in Baguio is located on Upper Session Road, close to the Baguio Cathedral. I’m pleased to see that it has not only survived but also expanded, despite the strong competition from more established pizza chains in the country. The food was just as good as I remembered it. Additionally, the service was friendly and efficient.

I'm giving this place a 3 star rating because frankly I'm conflicted. The first time I ordered a pizza it was the best I've had in Baguio, hands down. The best part being a generous amount of very tasty sauce. However, the second time I ordered pizza, two of them, it's like they came from a different place. Almost no sauce, overdone crust, just not very good at all. Not sure if this is due to different chef or what but the two orders could not have been more different. The first one 5 star without a doubt, but the second one would barely earn 2 stars. I'd say if you get the right chef, you won't find a better pizza in town. Seems to be a roll of the dice.
