I thought the place is just a little caffe, but when we went in, I was surprised because it can record a party for 75 people. food review: 4.5/5 details: eat tastes great! we had pork sisig, pork salpicao, chili fries, ube cream cheese military and wintermelon militia. pork salpicao is so tender, but tasted a little buttery. less butter could taste better. the chili frits are a reproduction of a texmex chili frits. the taste is great! they can work a little on the pommes, but maybe they want to change the pommes with bigger once instead of the small cuts. the militant are also not bad! they tasted great! price rating 4.5/5 the price is exactly right, they could get more for their money! taste and portion of the food correspond to the price. not expensive. service: 4.5/5 we were welcomed when we arrived and the staff is polite. I'm not sure if I'm asking for that, or I'm not sure where they are. I wanted a soy sauce for my sisig. Eat waiting time: 4.5/5 that was delivered in less than 8 minutes! I have specifically asked that the chili frits (appetizer) should be served first before our rice dishes, but it was served vice versa. I didn't, but the waitress agreed when I told her about my request. Environment: 4.5/5 the inner of the caffe is amazing, there are posters/images on the walls and there was even a Nipa hat inside! a Nipa hat! the caffe is also clean! below: the only side is the parking space, only 2 parking spaces. will I be eating here again? the answer is yes!
As soon as I entered the tore of this caffe, it felt like I was going to enter someone home. for good reasons, as this caffe turns from an old house. the gallery shows art and photos of the old baguio. I felt in baguio during the 80s. eating is great, not a thema on eating, but individually they taste excellent. I would recommend to everyone to try rewind cafe.
This is probably one of the best cafés that I have visited. I would very much like to commend the concept of this place and how historical it is, it 's like a museum slash cafe that is very rich in learnings. I really love how they tried to incorporate the 'history ' of Baguio and the product is just amazing. My personal favourites are the little sculptures of Igorots dancing and playing the gong on the fireplace. Definitely a rewind worth remembering.
I really love this place. It is really cool and cozy. There staffs are friendly and they can cater on everything you need. They have gallery inside which shows some of history of Baguio. Since this is an old house being transformed into a new one and it is so W.O.W.. I recommend that you should visit this place. It is quite away from the town proper but the environment is so nice, calm, breathable. Also, they dont have wifi because they want you (us) to be hands off first with our mobile phones and make kwentos to our friends. They want to build or make the bond between our friends, family and relatives to be stronger and firmer. This is the place na gusto kong balik-balikan. Guyyyyssss, visit this place. It'll be worth it. Trust me!
Though the food was ok and a little slow in the service, the restaurant itself has a very nice space. They have an awesome interior that depicts their theme 'rewind '.
