Cafe chez Sam - Baie-Sainte-Catherine

I found this place for lunch during a day of exploration along the St.-Laurent. I ordered touring animals that were among the best I had in Quebec, The Dessert, a light strawberry cake-like creation, was also excellent. To make it from the point of view... the St-Laurent and Tadoussac was excellent.

We just stopped for a bathroom, but it was a really great food-friendly service and all around a surprise joy. Menu is a bit small, but what it lacks in choice makes it for in taste and quality

We arrived at 735 and at 8 we had not yet received the menu. Then we ordered an assiete the food, but we got a cheese salad and said they didn't have enough cheese for a board!!! (without warning). Strange waitress, small portions for prices....Not reclaimed

Oh, my God, what an absolute jewel of a place. In the middle of nowhere, but the atmosphere, the eclectic decorations and the staff make this a must to visit when you observe the St Lawrence for Wal at the next door Tadoussac. Good food, comfortable beds and camille...was the perfect host for our stay. A note, it is an old building and the sound insulation is not the best. The rooms are above the bar, so can be quite loud, but it really doesn't matter unless you have small children I guess... It was a perfect base for us

Very convenient for Tadoussac, the Saguenay and Whale Watching excursions. like an old country inn. Basic and comfortable but with a hidden surprise. Outstanding cuisine and help yourself breakfast right in the kitchen. You won't forget it but you will probably come back.
