Bistro On The Bay - BAIE VERTE

The menu at this restaurant is extensive! I particularly enjoyed the Caesar nachos and spicy chicken burger. The fries are not homemade, but they would be even better if they were.

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch and were impressed by the delicious burgers and friendly staff. We were thrilled to find that they also offer gluten-free buns and bread options.

I have never had a better experience with steak and ribs than at this restaurant. I can't wait to try their burgers next time.

This restaurant is a delightful and welcome surprise. You get the traditional Newfoundland and Labrador menu items such as chowder, fish and chips. All well prepared, fresh and cooked from scratch. Then there are the surprises! Funky bistro dishes with unusual twists! Think Smoky peach...salad, spicey chicken tacos and more. this restaurant is off the beaten track but very well worth a trip up to Baie Verte for.

The food was abundant and delicious. I have peas soup that was one of the best I had. There's turkey fair is a Newfoundland poutine that brought me a tear. Dressing gravel fried onions and turkey on frits. I got the little order and it was massive. The woman and sister-in-law got the pan roasted cod and offered me nothing, so I take it as a good thing like the fish. The staff was there. A very pleasant experience all around. Definitely recommend and will return
